Sinnedbad is a skeleton worth mentioning. Solid skills, three life-time experience, several ads for polishing mixtures, free time pirate on a cursed ship, cornerstone in every Undead front line and one of the few players who created a hype.
Sinnedbad once filled a slot on the team Cockerel of the famous Necromancer Zaka Thrustra whose lust for experiments had made his teams famous as freak shows. One of his prototypes was Sinnedbad who lost an arm to Zaka’s enthusiasm and got a three-foot sword instead, mainly because the 10-foot sword wasn’t working. As the rules of Blood Bowl state very clearly that the only weapon allowed should be the player’s own body, Zaka, quite by accident, struck gold. Sinnedbad’s tackle became extremely deadly and so did his reputation. Zaka, encouraged by his success, developed illusions of grandeur and lost the last of his marbles. His following experiment “They are Undead, they don’t need a head, what about a flame thrower instead?” became a popular rhyme, but didn’t work.
Sinnedbad though, started a hype that raced like flash fire through the Blood Bowl community. To have a weapon for a limb became the thing to have. Surgery business was booming and creatures of all kinds complained about their limited numbers of limbs. After the hype calmed down a bit, all those fashion victims had to acknowledge the one important difference between them and Skeletons: Skeletons don’t have a social life. A second wave raged through the community, this time with an outcry of anger and frustration. Sinnedbad’s popularity dropped rapidly and hit the low point when it became public that Sinnedbad could switch arms whenever he pleases. Although he rarely did (except for rude gestures) as he became more and more comfortable with his sword and developed new styles of play. The most interesting one is his negative interception. Skeletons have never been great at catching the ball and their interception attempts are funny at the best. Sinnedbad solved the problem by not catching the ball but impaling it instead (or the receiver by chance). Statisticians had their problems with this method at first but settled, after a livid discussion (two burned out houses, 13 fatalities and a lot of “Tell him I won’t talk to him anymore” nonsense), for a peculiar solution. Nowadays, Sinnedbad’s record shows minus 26 interceptions and returning the ball for 448 paces. A second quarrel broke out about the matter if a deflated ball gives reason to interrupt the match. In the end the officials came to their senses and stated that “the deflation of a [pig] bladder never has, nor should, interrupt a game of Blood Bowl”. Troll players and such of their kind were deeply (and noisily) relieved.

"Not much is known about the former pirate Sinnedbad, Bob!"
"Yes Jim, he had some success while playing in the sealeagues, before and after his death. Some say he lost most of his limbs after losses."
"That`s true Bob! Did you know, he`s hiding a metal replica of a foot in his boot?"
"Really? How did he lose it?"
"When thrown into the water after a loss, a shark bit it off."
"Those sharks are nasty creatures, Jim. What about his arm?"
"Lost in a dispute with a werewulf."
"And his eye?"
"A sea-gull shit into it."
"WHUA...!? You don`t lose your eye from that!"
"True, but he had the hook only for a day by then."
"Oh...makes sense."
