Stars don't count towards your 11 players so you'd need Helmut to the No 12.
I took Norse to the GT last year and did ok 3/1/2
I'd suggest leaving the Snow Troll as he's not that great, 2 Ulfwereners are a must though. Runners are really useful with MA7 and agility access too and a thrower to get leader is nice for a 3rd re-roll. Berserkers are ok for a more surfing until the ulfs get block but i'd take an extra runner over an extra berserker.
Below is what i'd take for sure if i was using Norse again (sadly the team i used was a commission for someone.)
2 Ulfwerener 220
1 Runner 90
1 Thrower 70
1 Berserker 90
6 Linemen 300
2 Re-rolls 120
Total 890
This leaves 110K to play with, you could upgrade 1or 2 linos to runners or berserkers, add a re-roll and either a lino or apoth or take a snow troll.

1M?
1 Thrower
1 Runner
1 (Berserker or Runner)
2 Ulfs
7 Linos (12 men)
3 TRRs
1 Thrower
2 Runners
1 Berserker
2 Ulfs
5 Linos (11 men)
3 TRRs
1 AC
I like the top one. More guys means more mobility in the 2nd half.

What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.

I'm somewhat weary of taking Ulfs at tournaments as they don't start with Block.
Norse main advantage is all Block.
ST4 & Frenzy almost demands it.
It takes a skill away from other players that may be more useful (Guard, MB on the ST, Leader on the Thrower etc).
Even most of the TV110 sides I've seen only include 1 if any.
As for the ST, I'm a fan.
He helps deal with team that Norse could struggle with:
Undead, Dwarfs, Khemri and the like whose AV9 players are especially important and unlikely to be replaced.

I feel that 12 players is the least you want to start with as with AV7 you will have a player off at some point. The reason for not including any beserkers is that i dont really feel that they are that great untill they grab a few skills, and in tourny play my skills will look something like:
Snow Troll: Mighty Blow, Thrower: Leader, Runner: Sure hands, Ulf: Block, Ulf: Block
Not sure what order yet, but most likely surehands first, then leader, then MB on the troll.
