I’d take a Krox over hemlock for sure.

An extra ST5 player is always good and it’s pretty easy to set up some 3 dice blocks against ST3 to get his MB into play.

He’s also useful against the agile teams with his tail as even elves will be a little wary of making 3+ dodges. The good thing about that is you can just leave him next to opposing players so don’t have to risk bonehead if all you want to do is keep them in place.

Ditto, Krox over hemlock, no questions.

That said...for 1100, I rather like:
1x Krox
6x Saurii
4x Skink
1x Helmut Wulf.

Skill wise, Diving Tackle is really nice on Kroxigors in TT tourneys, but I'd probably go
Krox: guard
Saurus: 2x block
Saurus - 1x frenzy
saurus - 1x tackle
Saurus - 1x guard

Rules are posted:
1100=base team value
need 11 players before stars
120k of improvements 2 max of same skill
normal skills=20k
doubles =30k
AV,MA count as doubles
NO +st or +ag

I am thinking
6 sauri
1 krox
1 hemlock (love the blodge and sidestep, also stab can be good for an occasional ball handing blodger)
4 skinks
1 RR
1 leader (thinking krox)
1 Sure hands skink
two block or wrestle sauri (sadly 4 c. dwarves and 1 dwarf team already registererd out of the 20 teams)
1 Break tackle sauri
