TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

Peter (the Khemri player mentioned at the outset) is guaranteed to see an opportunity to try something new! Makes you think though when you're faced with the unusual, and converting and painting the mini for him was a pleasure.

I took 'flings to Dungeonbowl (105 TR Stars only as 12th man or more) this year with 10 flings, a treeman, Halfling Chef, 1 RR and Morg 'n' Thorg

Lost the first two games then realised getting the ball off Morg is actually quite difficult and reversed the strategy of using him to help the halflings, getting them to screen for him and having him Blitz his way down the pitch. 4 draws later I was wondering if there was any chance of a fling ever landing successfully! Loads of fun though especially the thought of the mighty Ogre being 'protected' by little tubby fellas   .

NOTE to self: Practice with team before going to competition

The year before I took high elves plus Soaren Hightower and no RR figuring if I got my positionals and star in the right place I wouldn't need any. Finished 3/1/2 I think, RR are overated anyway :D

.....and finally in my old league in Lincoln we had a Chaos Dwarf Team 'manned' solely by Hobgoblins !? I don't remember it being hugely effective but that may well be due to the coaching (or not if he reads this!)

I do think the craziest individual player I saw was Sizzling Gromrils leaping minotaur a few Waterbowls ago. The look on Tritex' face as it hopped into his cage and killed his ballcarrier (I was sat so I could see his face clearly during my game) was absolutely priceless.

As for team builds. I think Schmees 'Morg delivery system' Thadrin mentioned before was just inspired. I even played it at last years Flame Bowl, which was an interesting experience (give the ball to Morg, and watch the Lizardman player panic).

I remember having fun in a tourney by giving the ball to Hthark the Unstoppable. This was when he was ST6 and cost a mere 180,000.

For a 1100 TV resurrection that allows stars, I've got a fun High Elf one built I'll play sometime:

1 blitzer - 100k
1 thrower - 90k (if there's skills on offer, add leader here)
Prince Moranion - 230k
9 Linemen - 630k
1 rr - 50k

1100 TV! :D

It would be called "Body Guard of Prince Moranion", and the team is made by converting the GW plastic White Lion models :D.

No idea whether cutting RR's down so much on rookie HE is stupid or not, but Moranion at rookie level will be fun :D
