Bearded Fellows

Post by DixonCider »

how do you deal with Dwarfs with an AG team? I am guessing the lineup would be something like this in 1.1 million 6 skills

2x Troll Slayers with Mighty Blow
2x Runners with Block
2x Blitzers
4x Blockers, 2 with guard
1x Grim Ironjaw
2x Re-Roll
2x Fan Factor

How would a Skaven team deal with that?

I would try to force them to commit to one side of the field then swap sides. Thier slow movement creates assists on the hits. You will score more on defense than offense. On Kickoffs, rush to ball carrier. It forces coaches to keep 3-4 players back for protection. With the unreliability of picking up the ball, dwarves can't take chances with one player. Gutter runners can pick up a ball on 3+ in one single tackle zone. Then dodge out. The dwarf runners don't have tackle so it's easy to steal the ball. The speed and annoyance of gutters are an assets and a niceness to the opponents.

It was meant to read this way. My iPhone, sometimes takes liberties with the spell check.
