Honestly for me, Block is massive on a troll (you can 2d block with confidence) and Pro is a waste on...well pretty much everything! And whenever my trolls do not have Guard the team really misses it.

Had a quick look at the rules and would personally take:

2 Bribes
2 Re-rolls

2 Trolls (Block & Guard)
Fanatic (Mightyblow)
Fungus the Loon
Looney
9 Goblins (one with Sure Hands)

For Mutations, maybe Two Heads for 2+ dodges?

A couple of Block and Guard trolls are the dream for any Goblin team i have ever had, so if you can get them, it'd be crazy not to.

Itch,
for a doubles roll the most important Skill for a Troll is Pro. I have proved it 1000 times over in many tournaments (not to mention league play) many players do not see it as they think the trolls are all about hitting.
A Troll has FAR to many rolls to make make to get a play off and I only hit with a Troll "Offensively" maybe 50% of the time and that is with a 3dBlock. (he is too busy manuavering and throwing )
To have Pro for the OTTD is a godsend. let alone defense when you have a stack of goblins to throw into position.

DLS: Goblins 106.74 10/7/25
Itch: Goblins 189.95 26/13/17

Not sure you've "proved" anything. ;)

let me rephrase for Darson
Pro has worked far greater than Block for me in tournment play, much to the disbelief of many at those events.
I cannot convince the Blockers regardless of what I try
but those with an open mind will try it and find that for a Troll, Pro is Extremely useful.

If pro works better for your style of play then fair play to you. Block works better for mine, which requires the trolls to hit stuff and not be knocked down in return.

I also think the bomber and pogo are a waste on a tourney goblin team so we obviously play them very different ways :-)

Pogo is great if there is +AG available. Otherwise maybe not that great.

Bomber is worth it only if the tournament rules let you put Hail Mary Pass on him. I'd pass on the Pogo as well.

I am a fan of Block on the Trolls. I like Pro in league play but in a tournament it has less use for me. Throwing goblins is such a long shot with so many rolls that Pro doesn't help much. They are much more reliable hitting opponents with Block. :)

I also can't play tourney goblins with fewer than four rerolls because I am not very good. :)

Bribes are gold of course, pun intended. I'll see you at the Chaos Cup!

Pogo is fine. He is a gobbo with +1 ma for 30k which is fair.

I agree in a league, where the Pogo is great, but not in a tourney. I like the Pogo, but when I have put together tournament rosters for Gobbos, I usually find I need that 30,000 more somewhere else.

Potentially double him for Surehands. I wouldn't give him a normal skill.
