Lizards TR 105

Post by Arioso »

hi there.

i will visit to a tournament and would like to play lizards. Its TR 105 and my Roster seems pretty standard to me

Krox
6x Saurus
5x Skink
2 RR
1 FF

Sadly i see no way to fit a Starplayer (Hemlock) in here. Maybe Helmut Wulff would be an option

I am allowed to spend 190k in Skills and these are the options:

20k Skill
30k Double Skill
30k +AV or +MA

A skill is only allowed three times on the roster (so no 6x Block)

3 Times Block on Saurus (maybe 1x on Krox?) is a No-Brainer i suppose but i am wondering what i am to choose for the rest of the money
with only 2 RR i think Leader is a good option
but then i am stumbled.
Is Sure Hands on a Skink worth it
Is Frenzy, Break Tackle or Tackle worth it on a Saurus
I am really considerung +MA for a Skink

Really not sure what skills i should use

And i am still wondering if there are better team choices in a 105k tournament than lizards

thanks in advance for tipps and tricks

190kpo = 8 simple skills and 1 double.
it's a lot for this roster!

Could you give 2 (or more) skills to the same player?

if not: 3 saurus block, 2 saurus guard, 1 saurus frenzy or breaktackle, 1 kroxi guard, 1 skink leader and 2 skink side step.

And i am still wondering if there are better team choices in a 105k tournament than lizards
with tv105 and 190kpo of skill = 9 skills i would go for
1/ ama (3 guard, 1 frenzy, 3 block, 2 wrestle)
2/ orcs (all the 4 Blackorc, all the 4 blitzers, and the thrower would have get one skill!)
3/ dwarfs (3 MB, 3 guards, 1 block on the runner, and 2 other good skill)
4/ khermi !

but lizard is a good choice.

Thanks. Skillstacking is allowed but a player can only get 40k for skill ups (I.e. 2 regular skills)

I played lots of khemri and tr 105 is in my opinion not that good for them (no substitute)

So Please enjoy it (like a saurus block/breaktackle, or anything else sweet you like)

tv105 (with 9 skill...) i would go for:

13 players:
4 guardian (3 guard and 1 block)
1 throRa leader
1 blitzRa frenzy
1 blitzRa MightyBlow/Tackle
and 6 skelet (1 wrestle
1 assist
1 cheers
2 Team RR

or
14 players

4 guardian (3 guard and 1 block)
1 throRa leader
1 throRa block
1 blitzRa frenzy
1 blitzRa MightyBlow/Tackle
and 6 skelet
2 FF
2 Team RR

Do you really think that 13 or 14 players is not enough at this TV ? :?:

Hmm you are right i always took at least 3rr with them and so I never got more than 11/12 players with khemri. I agree that 9 skills are very strong for them

Back to my original lizard team - would anyone take a tackle saurus or do you all just hope the blodgers will go down .
What about a blodge skink as ball carrier

I would take a 3rd re-roll or an apo instead of a reserve.
Lizardmen are a risk as you are kind of screwed whatever happens vs Woodies as they will have Tackle and Strip Ball in some combination.
A Block Skink isn't a bad idea, but I prefer Surehands.
Block + MB, Block + MB, Tackle + MB, Block + Guard is how I would skill 4 of the Saurus.
Then it is personal preference between Surehands on a Skink or Leader/Guard on the Krox.
If you insist on 12 men for some reason then I really like Leader on the Krox.

I really like that skillup with 2 skills on saurii

will use it i think

but i really think 11 players is tough as there will be skinks going out, won't they?

Well I did ok on fumbbl with 11 mens(and no apo!) up to 140 ish TV - https://fumbbl.com/p/team?op=view&showm ... _id=679383

I never care about Skinks leaving the pitch - unless it is the last one!
Apo is much better to save a Saurus.
