Chaos Dwarf Help
I've just managed to roll two doubles on my Chaos Dwarf Team, one on a Bull who already has Dodge, and one on an unskilled Hobgob.
The hobgob will most likely get Dodge.
The Bull is trickier. My other bull is +mv, Break tackle and I'd like a reliable blitzer so was planning block for this bull until the double turned up. I'm tempted by Sidestep or Jump up but also thinking that I might be better with plain old block.
Thoughts?

What's the rest of the team? What environment does it play in? What teams are you likely to face?

I would take block if i felt i needed more solid standard streamlined players right away but sidestep if i thought i had room for a somewhat unusual piece.
In the long run a Block, Dodge, Side Step, Break Tackle BC sound like something you can have fun with on offense and something that can save your but in defense. With Block he gets a lot better immidiatly and there are still multitudes of nice paths available.
Being expensive, having only AG2 and already used 1 skillslot in a nonkiller way i don't see JU being something i would go for.

Take Block on the Bull Centaur, either Dodge or Leader on the Hobgoblin.Raveen wrote:I've just managed to roll two doubles on my Chaos Dwarf Team, one on a Bull who already has Dodge, and one on an unskilled Hobgob.

i would consider leader or guard on hobgob.
it would bring much more (to your team) than dodge(until he died)

Block on the Centaur, Guard on the Hobgoblin.

What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.

We're coming to the end of the current season and I have Vamps and Humans to play but I intend to keep on with the team for another season (10-15 matches) at least.

I second this. The Hobgob may not last too long, but while he's alive he'll be worth the TV. A (somewhat) mobile guard is good for this team.

Block on the Bull. Dodge on the Hobgob and eventually skill him as a ball carrier or ignore for DP.
