troll slayer rolled double 1's
my troll slayer got its 3rd skill tonight
team setup
1x TSlay w/ pile on
1x TSlay w/ reg skills +MB and pile on - 1 gets doubles - thinking of dodge or jump up
2x blocker no additional skills
1 x blocker guard, mighty blow -1 AG
1 x blocker reg skills and dodge
2 X blocker reg skills and guard
2x blitzer reg stkills and guard
1x runner reg skills and block
1x runner no additional skills

I don't like jump up blocks on ag2 on a player that's no1 target for fouls.
They're dwarves. Doubles are for other people ... take tackle or guard.
If you REALLY want to use the double. Every time i doubled i took sidestep... people hate sidestepping guarding dwarf spam like nothing else

If you took dodge on 1 player already, shouldn't you take more dodge to make it harder for your opponents to negate with a few tackle pieces?

Partially agree with Sparkydave: retire the player, and preferably team, as any additional skills on a broken team are bloat

Jump Up. Dodge has poor synergy with Piling On, Jump Up has excellent synergy. Even with AG2, the free block is a 3+ roll, and if you do end up blitzing from the ground, it saves you so many go for its.

Probably jump up but another worth considering = sidestep.
Get the guy within 4 squares of the sideline and opponents will be afraid to block him as they will be concerned about where he steps to and who he will be able to surf.

No brainer here:
jump up
it will offer more mobility to this player when standing: a player that will have to standup a lot during his games.
And you know, improve mobility is gold for dworves...
if no piling one, i would have consider Side Step (even if Standfirm is goodenough for frenzy), because it may offer a free square-move when defense-block.
