Quermitt, it was the Vegetarian option the Austrians and Pippy were complaining about, they were ridiculous.
At one point, Pippy got a Tuna Steak with grated carrot and lettuce!!!
I though the food was satisfactory, just the 1 hour wait between courses...but thats a very minor grumble on a great venue with cheap beer and good hosts!!

Not sure 2 Euro for a can of very average lager is "cheap".
The food was not fantastic...certainly not those "deep fried vegetables" with the bad meat...the pasta dishes were fine though.

Hotel beer prices I was prepared to put up with as the hotel was a nice place to relax in. £2 for a half pint of canned lager isn't cheap. And £15 for a double Jack Daniels and coke.....
The (non-vege) food was awful - and as for the vege stuff itself
When we got to the airport we ate better from a small counter seller. Having been to Italy for the last Eurobowl I admit I had high hopes, but the stuff served would have have even been "adequate" in an English restuarant, let alone a super hotel in the country of food.
Everything else was mint!
