I've been to Wales. However I am also perhaps the worst tournament coach in the world.

How about we leave this thread for guys who want to be part of the team, I remember when we tried to get Team Scotland up and running, it was one smart a** comment after the next, please lets not do this again.

I know Jordelfreshbreeze is welsh, or part welsh anyway, i will give him a call tonight mate

My Grandfather was Welsh, so I'd qualify to play. As for Eurobowl, alot would depend on costs and getting permission from my wife.

Despite not going for a place on your team I thought I would encourage you guys and say that if you need help we do have some freebooters at Danish soil I´m sure would like to be on :)

On the money front we´re trying to get the price range along those lines:
approx. 200 € incl. 3 meals a day, a place to stay and (very) cheap beer. This is in no way a fixed price yet and things may be taken off if we can´t get the deals we´re hoping for.
But it´s gonna be something along those lines I´m sure of - so cheaper than the WC.

Thanks Topper, that gives me an idea of how much money I'd need. Any tips on persuading the wife to let me go?

Just tell her you've been selected for international call up but feel she should be part of the decesion making process.

Then you say whilst you never thought you would get a call up and it's a dream come true your unsure if it's fair you leave her for a weekend.

This way she makes the decision and thinks you have her in interest. She will also know by saying no she will kill your hopes and dreams. Thus meaning she will say no. You should go.

Good luck lol

I good idea is not to go to Red Light Ditrict, loose your phone and way to the hotel, call your wife from a borrowed phone and then ask for another coach's phone number 5:00 in the morning and then not call back until evening the next day.

Haha that was the dumbest trick ever... (One of "our" guys did that) ;)

Anyway another way is to ask her to come along and while you play she can visit wonderful Copenhagen ;)
