Based on these replies, I dare conclude that it would be okay to change the rules this year, so that up to 3 freebooters are allowed, when an nation is unable to find enough national coaches.
Thanks. :-)
Fair point I guess. I think its a good solution.

Wales are back on course with 6+2
Best placed team that has not previously hosted.

Kewan's proposal sound quite reasonable (and increases our chance of maybe hosting it next year 8) ), so I'm all for it.

the belgian's also agree with Kewan's proposal. In fact we already raised the same question at the naf.

I meant to quote Kewans proposal. The Danish arrangers thinks its fair that teams that cant summon 6 national players don't get to host the next Eurobowl.

Wales also feel this is a good idea.

It brings more team and yet puts only those with 6 with a chance of hosting

I can't speak for everyone in England obviously, but I think Kewan's proposal is an excellent one.

Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when they find out, you're a mile away...... and you have their shoes.

And I hope you'll host Eurobowl asap, because spanish players will discover my incompetence as captain, and sooner I'll be dismissed :D :D

Kewan's proposal is definately a good idea. Perhaps we should take it even further, and saying best placed team without any (or with lowest number of) freebooters is gonna host it next year. Of course nations who have already hosted it doesn't count.

Well if a nation that had troubles getting a full team was to host it might give em the boost they need to enable them to field a full team for furture eurobowls :)

Yeh I think that the 2 freebooters should be allowed to host. Otherwise it´ll seriously limit the different possibilities of countries we´d be able to go to.
