We cannot tell how many teams there will be. Some say we will have to close at a certain point and others say that we will be lucky with 10 teams.

Only the registration will give you an idea on what to expect but I hope that this will be a great event (talking about numbers because I know that the rest will be great!!!)

Can I assume as you will be match making singles into 3 man teams that there are no restrictions on the races taken by Eur'Open teams? i.e. that all members of a Eur'Open could all take the same race.

From other thread...
babass wrote:You're right, it's not clearly written in our ruleset. Sorry.

It will apply to both Eurobowl (as usual), and Eur'Open.
So:
- 8 unique rosters per country at the Eurobowl.
- 3 unique rosters per team at the Eur'Open.

This won't work well with match making singles into 3 man teams.

Why? :?:

It will following the same system as the one of the EuroBowl. But, with only 3 coachs per team, instead of 8. What's wrong with this? :?:

We encourage teams to form in advance. You are able to see which players have registered as single so we want you to form teams before the eur'open.

If you are set to playing this specific race and you want to form a team with the same race. One of you both will have to change race or you cannot form a team together. There are 24 teams so races enough to choose from when you playing in three man teams.

The spare players will (that the organisation is looking for) have multiple teams and will be ready to play one of them teams.

As far as I can see, there were 22 participants at the Eur'Open last year. At this moment 13 teams have signed up plus a handful of coaches who are not part of any teams yet... That's more than 40 coaches for this year's Eur'Open - very cool indeed!!! :D

This means that all team who register after team OCC will be on the serve list.
All team and individual players who have registered so far are in for the tournament.

Should any teams cancel then the first reserve will be taken.
This will be done in order of posting on this forum.

So far we have enough players for 24 teams in the Eur'open.
Taken from the EurOpen Registration thread, but probably worth cross-posting. Looks like the EurOpen has topped out at 24 teams.

Will there be another anouncement when and where we will have to pay? do we have to pay right at the venue or in advance (depending on full, medium or light-option?)

Don't know if i have to do anything more than registering in the thread :)

Registering for the moment is OK.

By the end of july, we should be ready to get payments in. It would be nice if you can pay in the beginning of august. We have to make a payment to the hotel half august.

Who already registered is registered as a full option. If you want to change this, you can by just replying the registration topic.

I'll change to The Light Option please. We bring our own Tupperware then?
