Howdy

I am sure you guys and gals are working hard to deliver a great tournament but are there any updates? I know the post says "February" but we're over halfway through and there's been very little communication anywhere other that where it's going to be.

I only have 7 paydays left between now and the tournament plus other things going on so it makes it hard to budget and plan for if there are no details forthcoming. While I appreciate that this is just me I am sure that there are others in similar positions.

Rough costs for things like entry and accommodation or even if I need to be sorting alternative accommodation myself means I can start putting things in place.

Dave, it's like an 80's rave. You need to go a motorway services, on the outskirts of the venue city, to find a flyer that directs you to a burger bar in the city. You get there and they give subtle directions to warehouse where you will hear dulcet tones of heavy, repetitive, base beats. Once you arrive in the car park you’ll see signs pointing you next door where the tourney is being held.

We wanted to go live with the registrations on the 1 march but we had some problems and eurobowl.eu will be updated during the coming week. The registration information is attached below and also the updated rules for team building. I hope this will be sufficient for now.

Register
The price for the tournament is 1000 SEK per coach and is payed via PayPal. The price is the same for both the Eurobowl and the EurOpen. Included in the tournament fee is (of course) the tournament, lunch on both days and the gift bag.

To register the team captain will send an e-mail to info@eurobowl.eu with the information below. We will register the team and send a reply with the information needed to send payment via PayPal. After payment has been received we will send a confirmation and the team will be added to http://www.eurobowl.eu.
Please bring a copy of the confirmation to the event.

Booking the Hotel
There is discounted rates arranged at the ELITE Stora Hotellet, Örebro (http://www.elite.se). Information on how to book is included in the registration confirmation. All coaches make their own arrangements and booking the hotel is not mandatory.

*A coach may use some or all of the extra cash to buy skills. The rest is added to the team treasury. Skills are priced as follows, 20K for a normal skill and 30K for a double skill. Skill stacking or stat upgrades are not allowed in any way for Eurobowl or EurOpen.

Is the hotel big enough to have rooms for lots of people? Till what date are rooms reserved? So 1000sek is about 105€ per player to take part ? That's a huge boost compared to belgium

@Frogboy it will be a secret until the event but it will be Blood Bowl related.
@Arioso there is rooms for 1, 2 or 4 people. The discounted prices are for the weekend. We are aware of the difference in price from Belgium. We have done what we can to keep the price down.
