SELECTIEPROCEDURE EUROBOWL POLEN - 2020
WANNEER
Het kwalificatieseizoen start met het Belgisch Kampioenschap 2019 en eindigt met het Belgisch Kampioenschap 2020.
TOERNOOIEN
Om in aanmerking te komen, moet een toernooi NAF sanctioned zijn en minstens acht deelnemers hebben. De toernooien worden in vijf categoriën verdeeld, afhankelijk van hoeveel deelnemers er zijn en hoeveel matches elke coach speelt.
- Categorie A++: minstens 100 spelers EN minstens vijf matches
- Categorie A+: minstens 50 spelers EN minstens vijf matches.
- Categorie A: minstens 30 spelers EN minstens vijf matches.
- Categorie B: minstens 25 spelers OF minstens 20 spelers EN minstens vier matches.
- Categorie C: niet categorie A+, A, B of D.
- Categorie D: minder dan 15 deelnemers.
PUNTEN
Afhankelijk van de categorie worden op elk tornooi punten verdiend door de coaches die het hoogst eindigen.
- Categorie A++: 40-38-36-34-32-30-28-26-24-22-20-19-18-17-16-15-14-…-2-1 (top 30)

BONUSPUNTEN: Voor elk verschillend team (vanaf het tweede) waarmee je punten scoort, krijg je 3 bonuspunten die bij je totaal worden geteld.
- Wie zijn vijf hoogste scores met vijf verschillende teams behaalt, krijgt dus 12 bonuspunten.
- Ook een nulscore (deelnemen, maar buiten de punten eindigen) geeft recht op eventuele bonuspunten.
STUNTY SCORE: Naast je vijf hoogste scores en je bonuspunten mag je ook een zesde score toevoegen aan je totaal, op voorwaarde dat deze behaald werd met een stunty team (Goblins, Halflings, Ogres).
- Deze stunty score levert geen bonuspunten op.
- Resultaten behaald met een stunty team op Turncoat Bowl (of eender welk toernooi waarbij je van team wisselt met de tegenstander) komen niet in aanmerking voor een stunty score.
FOREIGN SCORE: Je mag een enkele score toevoegen, behaald op een toernooi in het buitenland. Deze toernooien worden net als de Belgische onderverdeeld in categoriën op basis van het aantal deelnemers en het aantal wedstrijden.
- De foreign score levert geen bonuspunten op.
ORGANISER SCORE: Wie een toernooi organiseert of afvalt als reserve, mag zijn vijfde score vervangen door een organiser score van 5 punten. Deze levert geen bonuspunten op.
SELECTIE VAN HET EUROBOWL TEAM
STAP 1:
We nemen de ranking na het weekend van het BK 2020. Wie op dat moment in de top 6 staat, krijgt een uitnodiging voor Eurobowl. Deze zes personen krijgen een week bedenktijd en moeten dan bevestigen of ze meegaan. Wie op dat moment weigert, niet kan /wil bevestigen, valt af.
STAP 2:
Indien de volledige top 6 bevestigt voor Eurobowl valt stap 2 weg.
Indien vijf spelers bevestigen, krijgt nummer 7 een uitnodiging en een week bedenktijd om te bevestigen. Indien nummer 7 weigert, niet kan/ wil bevestigen, krijgt ook nummer 8 een uitnodiging.
Indien minder dan 5 van de 6 bevestigen, krijgen nummers 7 en 8 een uitnodiging voor Eurobowl en een week bedenktijd om te bevestigen.
STAP 3:
Op dit moment zijn maximum zes leden van het team bekend. De top 6 heeft eerste keuze gehad (STAP 1). De nummers 7 en 8 konden rekenen op een "vangnet" (STAP 2). Wie op dit moment deel uitmaakt van het team, beslist autonoom wie ze nog bij het team willen.
De reeds gekwalificeerden kunnen zelf hun accenten leggen: team spirit, een goede speler die door omstandigheden niet in top 8 is geraakt, iemand die een leemte in het team opvult omdat hij met een bepaald team goed kan spelen, iemand die veel ambiance in het team brengt... de keuze ligt voor 100% bij de mensen die op dat moment al deel uitmaken van het team. Wanneer het team compleet is, kiezen ze zelf een kapitein, die vanaf dan de inschrijving in orde brengt.
- De personen die dankzij een wild card in het team geraken, komen de volgende editie niet in aanmerking voor een wild card. Zij kunnen zich enkel kwalificeren door top 8 te halen.
- Uitzondering: indien er unanimiteit is onder de reeds gekwalificeerden kan iemand die de vorige editie met een wild card het team haalde toch opnieuw in aanmerking komen voor een wild card.
