Last year Team Wales changed their team selection process to be a mostly qualification process. A copy of the new charter is below. If you are interested in running for a spot in Team Wales there are three things you need to do:

1) Change your nationality on the NAF site to Wales. This will allow us to pick up your tournament results in our data grabs for the leaderboard.
2) Drop a PM to either myself or Hawca to request access to the Team Wales sub-forum on TFF.
3) Post a message in the introduction thread to say hello!

Team Wales Eurobowl Selection Charter

Going forward Team Wales Eurobowl squads will be formed of:
• 3 coaches who finish highest at the previous Eurobowl (EB)
• 3 coaches who finish highest in the Team Wales Eurobowl Qualification Leaderboard (TWEQL)*
(These 6 Qualified Coaches elect a Captain who thenceforth assumes the traditional Captain duties including naming of a Vice Captain.)
• 2 Wild Card selections made by the Captain in consultation with the team

*If a coach finishing in a top 3 position on TWEQL has already qualified for the team based on EB performance the spot goes to the next highest player.

If a Qualified Coach rejects their initial offer the spot is offered to the next highest player on TWEQL. If a player withdraws after the Captain is elected, the Captain chooses a replacement.
It would be appreciated if coaches who are unavailable for the target tournament declare so before the end of the qualifying period.

TWEQL rules:
Placing is determined by Win Percentage across your best THREE two-day tournament records. Two one-day records may be combined to form ONE of the records.
In the event of a tie for a qualifying position the place goes to the coach with the fewest losses.
Qualifying period is the calendar year prior to the EB year.
NAF-ranked Blood Bowl tournaments only. No variants.
