Alas the HFH will have to pack their bags and head for a new home, what with Grandma Wendy laying the smack down on TBB..

Stay tuned to TalkFantasyFootball.org to see if the lads move shop successfully!

Alas the HFH did not get to play in the inaugral Rocket Bowl this year, so their first Tournament showing has yet to arrive.

They have been signed up by Team "Porritt's PooPoo Platoon" for the 2009 Flame Bowl ! Should make for an interesting first tourni :)

SO...again...stay tuned and we might actually see the HFH get a Tourni blog report before Xmas!

How about the fact that they did more damage than half of team White Isle by themselves? and put the halflings as joint 4th bashiest race of all?

POO-BOWL 2010 - "The follow Through!"

Well the lads turned out in force although lacking any real ability to open up the "Year of the Fling" at the Poo-Bowl in January...They fought their ground for 6 games and came out 0/4/2...........not a complete drubbing but not to be smirked at.........

The hardest fought Stunty Cup I've every witnessed. Most of the talk...erm Volume...came from the coaches feilding Stunty teams.............and it all came down to the every last game and even the final few turns of the last half as most of the Stunty teams were in scoring distance of each other down to the wire.

Lovemonkey (Mattwhile killer!) won the Diddy award with his Ogres!

Absolutely awsome Stunty contest!

Corrivalry 2010..Inaugral Tournament.....

12 coaches..........4 of which were Halflings including "How-the-hell-do-you-play-with-flings" Lycos!

And the HFH came a proud BUM-LAST!..BUT...got an Honourable mention after Heinz Verity No:57 Fling of the Heroes pulled of the "Play-of-the-Tourni" buy making a x2GFI 1/2 die block on and orc blitzer withing 3 squares of his own tackle-zone. The Blitzer ended up on his arse with the ball scattering into Heinz's hands in the same turn. Next turn he ends up racing back to stand next to "Toobeforr" ready to be thrown...And yes their following turn Heinz "Super-Fly-Guy" Verity is hurled to within scoring distance of the opponents endzone...Lands and promptly uses up all his movement skipping along the TD line before scoring!

92.3% return...by a single hafling that initiated a full on orc team turn over....and scored himself..............DUUUUUUUUUUDE!

I lost...but I had the greatest Moral Victory!

Scrump Cup 2010 - Inaugral Tournament

Hot Damn...Lunchmoney & Gaffer are the HFH BEE-YATCHES!!....until some other unlucky so and so gets beaten by the Boys From the HFH!

Unbeleivable...still reeling from the shock of it!........anyway...

!st game after a 3+ hour drive from Milen Keynes and a 10 min breather before diving into the Tourni, the HFH faced up against Lunchmoney's Uber-Mohammed-Ali-Im-Hard-Bruce-Lee-Undead-For-Live team....and promptly whooped them!
FLING ARRRMY.....FLING ARRRRMY!

Then a game against Bro' Munsen....who promptly cooked his shiny head in the strengthening morning sun, and drew against he pint sized HFH.....Disconcerting watching a grown man turn red from the forehead up in two hours!! A Draw no less!

BlocknRoll....What a [censored], I [Censored] hate dwarves..the [Censored] beat up the HFH good and proper.

Did I mention Dwarves were c..[Censored]...LOST....mutter mutter...

A draw against Kerry with babe in hand...I called Side Line Coaching to deaf ears....Draw....damned good game but...DRAW....

Then the Vanguard Villians coached by SHokhor..I think....WOW...What a game....some awesome turn overs of his Pro-Elf team...and some butt-clenching dice rolls and the game ended 3-3 ! :o WOW!

Gaffer....Dear Old Gaffer...and his doddering Norse....Bless! :orc:
Half naked men, beaten up by Halflings! End of second half there were two norse on the pitch...not standing...just happened to be on the pitch! The rest of the team, including the Yeti that got drop kicked into unconciousness by the Pot-Plant (YEAH BABY!) decided to watch from the K'O box whilst the rest of their mates were gradually dragged off the field of play.
About 6 decided they wanted to start the second have and promptly got mawled....I mean MAWLED by flaings...that's right, those small half man sized ST2 dudes you all laugh at......Blocks no good when you get handed from one eager bunch of tubby stunties to another group and then receive the HFH "Sychonised Elbow Drop" every other turn!

[Pet-Shop Boys ~ Go East]

Twooooo ..Onnnnnnnnnnnnne,
To the flings,
Twooooo ..Onnnnnnnnnnnnne,
To the flings,
Twooooo ..Onnnnnnne,
You know it stiiiiiiings.
Twooooo ..Onnnnnnne,
You've been had by flings!

Needless to say Gaffer was sporting enough to fight every inch of the game. Fair dues.
2-1 Win to the HFH

At the end of it all the HFH have pulled of a 2/3/1 score line for the tournament...DUUUUUUUDE!

Maelstrom Cup 2010 - Inaugral Tournament

Well, the lads were back on form again...that's right folks, getting thumped!

10 players, three of which were Delf, and I had the fortune of playing all of them...joy

Loss, Win, LOSS, LOSS, LOSS, LOSS..............*whimper*

Damned good games all of them. The real stinger was the complete team mawling I got from Carl and his Bull Centaur-less Chaos Dwarves...F*** Tackle!

Met a great chap, and regular gamer at the Maelstrom store/shop/venue place. "Evil Trev"....who has now been handed the "HFH BE-YATCH CROWN!"...this guy received the standard HFH "Shenanigans" .....2nd Half, Last Turn, TTM...x2 GFI....Score...2-1 ...and now the HFH own your ass!! :orc:

The Gegg beat me...surprise surprise!...He also got a HFH "Shenanigans" TD against him...TMM with ball...splat ball scatter...he covers ball...next turn...Incoming TTM fling..lands in x2 Tackle Zones...need 6 got 6!...half dice the thrower with ball...need POW or Dodge-POW twice...SLAP! down goes thrower....Fling follows up, pick up ball TD...thank you very much!....I Lost 3-1....Very much a no brainer for the Geggster...

Next stop for the HFH....ALBA-BOWL!!

And somehow I won "Most Sportsman"....with Flings you have to be! Gives everyone else a chance, a-hem!
