Kaeru Killers - FUMBBL [B] Slann

Post by B SIDE »

Didn't know where else to post this, but I had to put it somewhere.

Pretty good success with the team so far, but I went up against a developed ClawPOMB team recently and it didn't go well. 16 turns and 11 CAS later, my TV had gone from 1900 to 660. Wow!

Unbelievable skill roll for one Linefrog:

+ST +AG +ST

6548 Leap, VLL

What a monster!

Got a rematch against the team that dealt me 11 CAS, but this time I had reserves!

Took 12 CAS. There's really no getting around it. ClawPOMB is too good. The only guy left on my team was the only guy with Fend. :orc:

Morale of the story: get more Fend. :)

Did the CLAW piece of the ClaPoMB play that big a role against Slann? or is it the PoMB piece that kills you? (my guess)

Good question. The claw is huge against Krox.

And after playing a total of 12 turns, the monster 6548 Linefrog lost an AG.

Too much blood in the bowl today. I've taken 65 casualties in my last dozen games, not counting one recovery game against Skaven. It's hard to sustain a finesse team when 90% of your opponents are bashers.

I spectated the game where your super LineFrog got busted and the Apoth had you chose between -ST and -AG...on a +ST/+AG player. Very tough luck, man.

Can you agree to play fewer bash opponents? Maybe pick and choose?

You can't pick your opponents in lackbox. You just get stacked up against whoever happens to be available. The scheduler also tries to match team value and races so you get a tough game every time. Unfortunately for Slann and Humans, it seems to mean those teams play against bashers pretty much constantly.

Had a star blitzer die on a leap today. I always thought he'd die from fouling. Turns out frogs with Japanese names actually are suicidal.

Best FUMBBL random journeyman name so far: Richard Strongstream.

Yes, that's Dick Strongstream. Brilliant.

Rolled double 6,6 on a new Krox this morning... took Block. It's one thing to talk about it in a forum, but those double sixes are SO tempting when you're looking at them!
