Thrudball 2024 Legacy Team

Dear Thrudlings,

We are running a Legacy Team for Thrudball 2024.

Legacy teams work like this: everyone contributes and paints a mini or some tokens, one person is then randomly chosen as the winner and they get to win the whole team. You don't need to be attending the tournament to enter, but if you win you will be asked to pay the postage costs to get the team shipped out to you, if we can't find some unfortunate heading back your way to mule them to you.

The Chaos Gods have already spoken via their earthly representative, and this year we must complete a Khorne Bloodbowl team or face their punishment.

The colours will of course be the Thrudball colours, which means Purple, White and we'll use Gold for metallics. See https://www.thrudball.com/ for a reference on the particular colours if needed.

Basing is to be battered turf. Liberal use of blood spatter on both the model and base is encouraged. Please paint the base ring black, and paint (or write) your username on the front side, and the player's number on the rear side.

The deadline to be eligible for the draw is is the Friday 2nd August 2024 – if you're attending Thrud please hand your model to myself before the start of the evening 7's tournament. If you're not planning on attending on the Friday evening, you can PM me for a UK address to post to. Please ensure sufficient postage time as again, if the model isn't with be by the Friday evening, you won't be eligible to win the team.

The draw will be done by the Thrudball events team before the start of the main tournament on the Saturday morning. If the winner is in attendance, they will be “encouraged” to play their new team, but it is not mandatory. If this means a change of roster from what they have previously submitted they will NOT be penalised in anyway.
