The first TFF legacy team
Hi all,
have volunteered to co-ordinate the TFF legacy team, unless anyone else fancies it. But either way we'll need to choose!
For those new to the concept - a legacy team is where anyone who wants to paints up a miniature of their choice in a common colour scheme and sends it to someone (me?). We then do a raffle, and the winner gets the whole team. The likely deadline is end of November, so plenty of time to paint 1 mini (probably ).
Past Legacy teams:
2003 Goblin
2004 Chaos
2005 Skaven
2006 Dark Elves
2007 Chaos Dwarf
2008 Chaos Pact
2009 Necromantic
Lots of "evil" in that list - maybe something "good/neutral"? Vote in the poll!
I tried to add in Underworld and Vamps, but that took it to over 10 options. If you want a different team, just say so below

I'm in,
I voted for something a bit more evil. I fancy doing vamps.

Oh yeah, I meant to put vamps in. A good variety of thralls might be good. Let's see where this poll takes us...

Re: The first TFF legacy team
I'm in and voted Multi-Elf. Had a bit of a think about what offered the most conversion potential, usability, and something that would be aesthetically pleasing as a group.
Elves tick all the boxes, if enough people contribute and keep the models generic enough you could potentially get a 3 for 1 Legacy team. You could easilly stick to out of the box GW miniatures if you where that way inclined, but happily enough there are a lot of manufactureres who offer great alternatives. Elf teams can be made to look very cohesive with a unified paint scheme as well.
Teams like Lizardmen and Vampires didn't appeal to me with the lack of positionals, and Dorfs are just dull to paint! I'd not grumble about Humans I suppose, but Elves are where its at!!!

Yes, Underworld would be cool as well. Lots of possible conversions and enough "position players".
