I was going to say White until you mentioned Orcs, so Black it a better option, I think.

Voted orange. Makes a nice contrast to purple

I went for white. Think it will b a good contras to the purple and with the green as a mid tone it should look good.

I just voted White, but then I recall we did Purple/White in 2008(but it doesn't matter to me, I'll paint whatever color wins).

Hope I didn't derail the thread with my comment, but people seem to like the purple/white so it doesn't really matter.
