Mine's a GW teclis blue, with a dash of GW white layer added to bring it up to sky blue. I've then added white for two highlights, and added a little blue wash to the recesses made from a cheap acryllic (phthalo blue, incidentally) and thinner medium.

Different recipe for mine:

Ice blue
Asurmen blue wash
80:20 Ice blue / Pallid wyche flesh
70:30 Ice blue / Pallid wyche flesh

Similar looking results to Shteve0's though!

Very short! I can't think of a precedent of such high numbers of pledgers in the 3 previous years I've participated - 32 & counting!

@asperon - feel free to pick something from the now short list above & I'll stick you down :-)

With the light fading, I just took this snap of my Halfling as he stands. Pic is pretty poor; the stars for example, are orange. He just needs a coat of varnish and his base flocking and he's ready to see what his team-mates look like :)

Mate, he looks mean as! I'm kinda sorry I pledged to match the colour placement now, that star's going to be a bugger to duplicate (particularly as I don't have any orange :P). How did you stencil it? Did you draw in pencil first, or just freehand it?

No need to match the star, I just thought it looked cool :-) They're freehanded - do an inverted V, then a line horizontally across it & join up the other points.

Nice... I'll see what I can do. Mine should be wrapped up in about a week, depending on when I can borrow a silver paint :)

Anyone else have progress to share? So excited about seeing this team come together (though I expect it to take upwards of six months, I'm very impatient!)

Edit:  I couldn't resist getting stuck into this. I need to add the silver (buckle, spikes, chestguard), and the white is not as tidy as I'd like, but I give you number 23: Lineman Sam.

Ax, do you want to drop me your address via PM? I'll get this little fella finished and over to you, likely by the end of the month.

My word he looks great! Love the diamonds on his quilted jacket & the sculpted elements. Looks like he might be pretty formidable for a halfling :-) Star looks great too.

I'll PM you my address.

Thanks man! Reckon he's a great candidate for +AV ;)

Cheers for the address - I've still a little work to do and post from NZ isn't the fastest, but I'll let you know when he's on his way!

Just need to add the name/number to the base and clean up a stray spot of white under the right shoulder pad and he's all done :)

Anyone made a start on theirs yet? No pressure mind, there's still 10 months till the deadline ;)

Both early entries are looking good!
No progress here. I am actually "only starting" to look at suitable minis. This is usually done 5 months later ;)

Started work on my chef, he is bathing in the punch bowl that comes with the MLP wedding edition Applejack.

Still very much a work in progress and he will hopefully get a cool looking over sized chefs hat and have the gaps filled with gel.
