PM sent:

Hello contributors!

Thanks for signing up for what could be the biggest Legacy team ever. Hopefully you've all seen the colour scheme, and there is still time to influence the choice of name - Lucky Luccans, Tampa Bay Luccaneers, or something else?

Those of you on the ball might have noticed that I have signed up for a mini - I'm planning some sort of display base type scenario, which will hopefully turn out well (I like a project, but don't have much storage space, so this fits nicely!).

To help with this, if anyone apart from Morg is planning a non-25mm base, can you post in the thread to let me know? Equally, if we could avoid using plastic numbers and letters on the outside of the bases that would be helpful.

My address for sending is Mike Davies, 61 Colingsmead, Eldene, Swindon, SN3 3TQ, UK. I am hoping to pop to the NAF champs so can collect there, or if you can arrange for them to be at the World Cup (having provided photographic evidence!) then that works too.

Happy painting everyone!

Mike/sann

I like the Tampa Bay Luccaneers, and I'll be sticking to a standard 25mm round base for my entry.

Looking forward to this! I might even get some converting/modeling in tomorrow, all things going well!

Thanks Mike for the effort!

I do most certainly hope though, that ANY real world name (other than Lucca... maybe) will NOT be part of the team name!!!
This is fantasy football after all. Blood Bowl fluff is so rich, let's stay with it!
I want more fluff!

Do we post progress photos or is it all a surprise?

Yep, progress shots are good! I would lean away from Tampa bay, it is too real.

I would go for...

Luccini Bay Buccaneers

Sartosa Bay Luccaneers

Or something like that. I like so much to make parallelisms between american and fantasy football teams.

Once decided, I would provide you a suitable .png logo in which I will base my markers style.

I've found a suitable old base (GW 1992) for a suitable old mini. It says 'elf' on the tab, so all should be good. :D

Will soon prime it, either by hand or when/if the weather is a tad better (less cold/humid).

blue and white(ish), right?

Good question! Will take progress photos as minis arrive, to get an idea of the blues people are using - anyone chosen yet?
