Hello chums,

Well well well. This year's poll to decide the Legacy team has ended up in a tie break! There is indeed a first time for everything.

So how do we decide which of the two races to choose from? We could go down the route of more polls and votes and referendums but who wants more referenda/referendiums? So in the spirit of expeditiousness, I have decided that my vote counts double which means that the Legacy team for 2019 will be...

Also, it seems fitting that the current venue for the Waterbowl used to be a frozen wasteland.

Background
The idea of the Legacy Team is to collectively create a unique team of miniatures for the Waterbowl tournament.
It will be a prize awarded on the first morning of the tournament and is traditionally used by the winner for the weekend (although this isn't mandatory). We may vociferously boo the winner if they don't, however.

How to be in it (to win it)
To be eligible to win the team you must contribute a mini to the team and also play in the tournament in Feb 2019.

Below is the list of available positions for 2019's team. Just comment in this thread with what mini you want to paint. Let me know if you need assistance with sourcing a model.

When you've painted your mini, you'll need to send it to me or hand it over to a Waterbowl regular somewhere on tour. You can PM me if you want to discuss how to get it to me.

Sadly in the past we've lost miniatures in the post, so if you can at all, send it so it needs a signature - that way we can track it if it doesn't get here. It would be a shame to lose your hard work!

We'd like to get all minis to us by the end of January 2019, so we can get the team finished in time for the draw on the Saturday of the tournament.
Mark 'Nippy' will be doing the display base and individual bases for this team, so you don't need to supply the model with a base or permanently fix a base to your model, that will be done for you. You lucky beggars.
