Good to see at least one person is interested! :D
I think it is fair to say that Shropshire has not traditionally been a hotbed of Blood Bowl enthusiasm and activity. Well, hopefully that will change and this tournament is intended to be part of encouraging that change. I hope to attract about 10 local coaches and it would be great to see other and more established coaches from further afield join in the fun. I should be able to sign up the venue on Monday so you can expect the infopack to appear on this thread on either the 10th of 11th of August.

Have you considered this to be a 4 game tournament? It would tempt me!

The venues on the shortlist are the Coalport Village Hall, near Telford and the English Bridge Workshops, Shrewsbury. I intend to make a decision after visiting the Coalport hall on Monday evening.

Cool. I could get down to either of those (just need to double check availability). Might be able to get a couple of other waterbowlers to come down too.

My thinking is that 4 games is a full on day, particularly for some of the local coaches who are relatively new to the game, but also for people who may be driving quite a distance to get to and from the tourney. If the tournament is a success then I intend to run it again next year, so what I can certainly do is ask the attending coaches (show of hands during prize giving) whether they have a preference next year for a 3 or 4 game tourney. Can I put you down as Interested anyway?

Certainly will :)

Are you a member of the Facebook bb group or on Twitter? It's worth publicising on there too (if you haven't already). If you're not on those two, let me know and I'll put the info out there.
