Cheeky little post to let all the lovely Monkeys know that I'll be demoing the (very soon to be Kickstartered) skirmish game The Third Law at Monkeybowl. Think Robot Wars meets Fight Club!!

If you're interested, please pop over to the event and let me know:

I demand a once in a generation referendum against Scotland Championship being part of Monkeybowl, and then another one next year if I don't like the result.

We will not be dictated to by a the un-elected powers of Garrick, the Norths Voice must be heard, to refuse this would be an outrage.

We must make a stand against this rampant nationalism of others by forcing their championships on us.

We must not be part of this hard line 6 man rule Garrick is wed too.

Together we can make Monkeybowl great again.

In other matters...

Regarding changes to BB rules since MB XI, please note the official NAF tournament rules reference pack will be followed. The document is found here:

http://www.thenaf.net/2016/12/naf-rules ... st-feb-17/

Note various clarifications regarding Piling On, Arguing the Call, new skills, Star Players etc. etc.

Any questions just shout up and I'll try to answer them!

Bren, this came up at Bridie Bowl as some of the information is referred to but not included in the above document, I have paraphrased it here. It is worth noting that the rules state you need a Head Coach figure (i.e. representing you!) to 'Argue the Call' (Mike Davies, NAF has clarified that the NAF do not require a Head Coach figure to 'Argue the Call'):

1. There is a new star player, Guffle Pusmaw who is only available for Nurgle (DZ1).

Guffle Pusmaw MA5, ST3, AG4, AV9; Foul Appearance, Loner, Monstrous Mouth, Nurgle’s Rot; 110k GP
Monstrous Mouth: Catch Skill plus cannot be Stripped.

2. Human catchers are 60k (Box).

3. A Head Coach can ‘Argue the Call’ on a sending off (DZ1).

“If you have a suitable miniature representing your Head Coach, you can argue the call when one of your players is sent off for committing a foul or using a Secret Weapon. Roll D6. On a roll of 6, the referee accepts your argument (or, at the very least, believes your thinly-veiled threats) and the player in question is only sent to the Reserves box instead of being sent off entirely. On a roll of 1, the referee has had enough of your lip and ejects you from the game! Remove your Head Coach from the Dugout. For the rest of the game you cannot argue any calls, and if the ‘Brilliant Coaching’ result is rolled on the Kick-off table, subtract 1 from your dice roll.”

4. Halfling Treemen gain the Timmmber skill (DZ1).

Timmm-ber!: Assists for Treemen to stand up from Prone.

The NAF doesn't need a head ref to Argue the Call, this is TO discretion.
