Re: UKTC IV, York Jan 20/21 2018 - *FULL*
Having had a little time to digest the new races fallout I have decided to include both Bretonnians (Tier 1) and Khorne (Tier 2) at UKTC IV. More info and communications coming soon.

Guess something crap had to happen on Friday 13th.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Finally a situation where taking the attitude that 'the decision has been made so we best get on with it' is applicable.

If it had been 52 yes, 48 no, the races probably wouldn't have been in...Joemanji wrote:Finally a situation where taking the attitude that 'the decision has been made so we best get on with it' is applicable.

I do hope no-one will be too upset by this... Please get in touch if you're not happy.
Just following what seems to be NAF policy. Though stopping short of making B&K compulsory is a little confusing in the circumstances. So far it seems most larger and major tournaments will be 26 race events so I'll follow suit.

Hi all
A few bits of info for general reference.
ONE
I have attached a UKTC IV Errata to the title post of the thread concerning the addition of Bretonnians and Khorne.
I would also like to add a clarification regarding Star Players. The UKTC Rulespack allows all teams to induce 0-2 Stars; for clarity these are the Star Players in BB2016 together with the list of official stars for NAF tournaments (see NAF docs).
TWO
There will be a First Round Draw in the week prior to the tournament. Exciting!!
This is with the aim of things running as smoothly as possible on the Saturday morning of the tournament i.e. you will be able to go straight to your tables ready to play once your captain has confirmed you are all present and collected your tournament gifts. Space is limited at the venue, so it will be preferable if 160 players are not wandering around the building (or worse still, hovering near the laptop!) awaiting the draw during registration.
To this end, please can each captain email ukteamchallenge AT gmail.com with his/her team’s four race choices as soon as choices are finalised. I need this information by a deadline of Monday January 15th 2018.
NAF President Sann0638 (who will be attending the event in a non-playing capacity) will make the draw and post it to the NAF site at 21:00 GMT on Thursday January 18th 2018, that is 22:00 Central European Time I believe. Thank you to Sann for helping out with this.
Any questions regarding any of the above, please ask.
