Merseybowl 2018 10-11th November, Liverpool UK

Our friends at Justplaygames are again hosting a 2 day NAF sanctioned tournament in Liverpool, UK on 10-11th November 2018. I'm also hoping to organize a social on the Saturday night.

As a local player to the store and their league, my advice is:
1) Payment - use Colu app (see below)
2) Parking - it's free from 6pm on 'Pall Mall' which is the road next to the store. Also on Pall Mall is an NCP which charges 4GBP per day at the weekend. If needed, park on the Pall Mall road on the Friday night and the NCP on the weekend days - the NCP rate on Friday night is extortionate!
3) Trains - the nearest station is Moorfields which is short walking distance
4) Hotels - I think there is a Premier Inn nearby

PS justplaygames accept the Liverpool Local Pound through the Colu app. I've found it simple to use, install the app and load a balance (I think you get 2GBP for your first load and every load you get 5%) in increments of 5. As my local gaming store, they offer 10% of GW RRP and by using Colu you get another 5%. However, make sure you don't make the mistake I made of loading from a credit card as you may get charged a 4% cash transaction fee from your credit card company. They accept this for everything in the store including drinks and snacks for on the day.

I’ve had a message from Ritchie at JustPlayGames last night confirming that the early bird discount will end at the end of the month, so if you’re thinking about coming then get your ticket st the Lowe price quick!

I think it’ll be a cool little tournament in a great venue, I’m looking forward to it! It was a good one last year and I’m hoping it’ll be even better this year...
