Star Player Showcase, Cardiff, 5th & 6th October 2019
Star Player Showcase
Foreword
We’re sure everyone who is attending the World Cup will have a fantastic time but not everyone who loves the game is able to attend so we thought we’d run a tournament for those who are staying behind. We hope to be able to stream some of the World Cup action on the weekend
Background
Blood Bowl, the one game in the old world that allows a player to start from nothing and work their way to shining glory on the pitch. Some progress a little, many become famous but it’s a rare feat indeed to become a true legendary star of the game. Welcome to the Star Player Showcase!
The Players
All the players that attend the Tournament are expected to conduct themselves appropriately throughout the tournament. That includes playing the game in the right spirit, making sure they have everything they need (dice, board, templates, clear team rosters, their team etc) and in general contributing to a friendly environment where everyone can enjoy both their games, and the time spent in between rounds with their peers. The tournament organizers will do their best to ensure that the tournament runs smoothly and everything is provided to enable the players to get as much enjoyment as possible from the event, and likewise the players should do their utmost to hold up their end of the bargain. Most important of all, enjoy yourself!
The Officials
The officials for the tournament are 100% committed to ensuring that your Star Player Showcase experience is the best it can possibly be. Our job is to make sure everything runs smoothly and that you can concentrate solely on your task at hand and that is to play the best you can for 2 days against likeminded people that share your love of the Bloodbowl hobby. We would like to state we are looking forward to the event as much as the players and pledge to do our best to run the event as smoothly and professionally as possible.

I'm interested, but wont be able to confirm until much closer to the time. I do love Firestorm Games, shame it's so damn far away

Almost wish I wasn't going to the World Cup. How I want a star Treeman under these rules.
Maybe next year?

Hi put me as interested. Should be able to confirm towards end of the month. Not sure if you know but Cardiff half marathon is on the 6th. So may want to keep eye on road closures etc. They haven’t released this years closures yet but looking at last years should be fine if we in before 9.

So coming down the A48 from the M4 or M4 and A470 down North Road and taking this little route around scenic Cardiff should mean everyones fine. Train should be fine as the route doesn't cut Firestorm off
