What is it?: It is a NAF-sanctioned, 4 game, one-day tournament, with a random first round draw, followed by Swiss pairings for the remaining three rounds. As the name suggests, there is a definite leaning towards the often forgotten art of the floor blitz, a.k.a fouling. Speaking to Glyn (badgutz), the manager at Firestorm, he’s happy for us to have the whole two floors of playing space (as we did last year), giving plenty of safe space.
When is it?: Saturday September 11th, 2021.
Where is it?: Firestorm Games, 121 Victoria Road, Swindon, SN1 3BD.
How much is it?: £15 for NAF members, and £20 for non-NAF members (including the £5 sign up cost when processed by a NAF representative). Please be aware that local parking isn't NCP levels of eye-watering, but is unfortunately public car parking only. I may be able to collect folk from the train station if you arrive at similar times. Alternatively, share cars if it is safe to do so and save the planet.
Why is it?: FoulBowl was the ingenious invention of infamous Blood Bowl coach FrogBoy. After FoulBowl 2, he disappeared into the distance, pockets bulging with loot and treasure, never to be seen again. However, persistent pestering and bribery (with the occasional threat of physical harm and kidnapping) from Goblin players, coaches and fans across the land prompted negotiations between myself and Señor Frog to begin. We ran a successful event Foul Bowl 4, last year which sold out pretty quickly and went really well, even with the extra precautions at the time.
tl;dr I missed FoulBowl, messaged FrogBoy asking if he’d run it again, got told no, but was given his full blessing to resurrect the format myself. We’re now in our third year of plagiarism.
Payments should be made via Paypal (friends and family) to haribo_21@hotmail.com. Please include the tournament name, your NAF name, NAF number and actual name. There will be no refunds for cancellations within two weeks of the tournament date.
To be cautious, we are limiting to twenty spots, for now. As soon as we hit twenty paid up names (marked in bold), it’ll just be paid reserve spots up for grabs. We will not expand beyond twenty players until the government guidance suggests it’s the right thing to do; I'd rather run a safe tournament than a cattle drive.

Note: In order to facilitate four games in one day there will be no allocated ‘lunch break’. If you are not bringing lunch with you, there are several fast food outlets, coffee shops etc. within walking distance of the store, but to keep the tournament flowing, 15 minutes between rounds is all that will be given.
COVID-19 guidance will be followed, whatever is is at the time. If this means the event cannot be run, the decision will be taken at the earliest date, giving as much notice as possible.
Any questions, please ask. Feel free to private message if you're worried about any genius roster ideas being stolen by your equally Foul-minded opponents!
EDIT to ruleset: 1 Star Player per team is allowed, irrespective of tier or team, and still only after the minimum 11 players have been purchased.
With regards to the ever-changing BB2020 landscape, any new rules released by Games Workshop between now and the event will be included/excluded as per NAF tournament guidelines, or at the Tournament Organiser’s discretion. Please see the edit in red, which has been made with this in mind.
