General Information
Wibble Bowl 2024 will be held on Saturday 23 March 2024 at Leodis Games, Unit 10, Springfield Mills, Bagley Lane, Farsley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS28 5LY. There is a free parking outside and near the venue. Food is not provided but there are shops and cafes nearby and you may have food delivered if you wish. Additional drinks and snacks are available to purchase on site.

Rules
Once again, we will be using the ruleset from an upcoming major tournament. For Wibble Bowl this year we will be using the NAF Championship rules for building teams.

Regarding FAQs, errata and banning of specific stars we will likewise follow the NAF Championship lead.

The deadline for submitting your roster on tourplay is 16 March 2024
You will need a phone, tablet or other internet connectable device in order to view draws and track / input your results etc.
Leodis does have good guest wifi and info to connect will be available on the day.

Game timings will be as follows:
09:30 to 10:00 Registration
10:00 to 12:30 Game One
12:30 to 13:00 Lunch
13:00 to 15:30 Game Two
15:30 to 18:00 Game Three
18:00 to 18:30 Awards and close

Entry costs and payment
• Entry cost is £17 per coach for NAF members or £22 for non-NAF, this includes sign up/renewal
• Entry cost does not include any lunch. (Local Café local or delivery to venue is allowed at coaches cost)
• Please send payments for tournament sign up by PayPal to paypal.me/wybbltournaments or WYBBL-Tournaments@outlook.com. Could you select the ‘gift’ or ‘paying a friend’ option so we don’t lose out on fees please?
• Due to previous issues, we will not be offering refunds. However we can try to help you sell your ticket to another coach should the need arise.

Etiquette
• Blood bowl is a battle of skill and luck between you and your opponent. RULES quick reference guides are useful and encouraged. Play books that tell you HOW to set up, attempt a one turn touch down etc. are not!
• We may not be able to include anyone that arrives after the registration period has closed in the initial round one draw. Previously the head ref has provided emergency spare man cover but we feel we need at least one dedicated ref so we won’t do this here.
• Please don’t distract the top table(s) whilst they are playing the game, especially if you have a vested interest in a particular outcome!
• The sharing of dice is encouraged, and is mandatory if requested by one of the coaches at any point in the game.
• The illegal procedure rule will NOT be enforced.
• It is the responsibility of the coaches to check that both teams have set up the correct number of players in a legal formation at the beginning of each drive. Ideally errors should be corrected before any dice are rolled. However if it is later realised that a coach had set up too many players then random player(s) should be placed back in reserve until the excess has been addressed.

Scoring
After each round tournament points will be awarded as follows: Win: 2 points / Draw: 1 point / Loss: 0 points
When your game is complete please check Tourplay with your opponent and that the right number of touchdowns and casualties have been entered. Both coaches are responsible for checking the results and then finishing the match on tourplay. Only record casualties that would give Star Player Points, casualties causes by fouls, crowd pushes, failed dodges, bombs, stabs, chainsaws etc. do not count.

Awards
Subject to sufficient sign ups we aim to give awards in the following categories. We also aim to have a small tournament souvenir (again subject to sufficient sign ups). We will operate a “highlander” policy where you can only win one award with the exception of best painted which will not exclude you from winning something else.

• Most CAS
• Most TDs
• Stunty Cup (highest placing stunty team)
• Best painted
• Wooden Spoon (last place)

Players on the same points will be separated by the following tiebreakers:
1. Submitted roster in Tourplay on time 16 March 2024
2. For most touchdowns ONLY – highest net touchdowns
3. For most casualties ONLY – highest net casualties
4. Opponent Score - the sum of all opponent’s tournament points, also known as strength of schedule. (tourplay records this as BHZ or Buchholz score)
5. Fewest Star Players
6. Net Touchdowns + Net Casualties
7. Net Touchdowns
8. Net Casualties
9. Touchdowns Scored
10. Casualties Inflicted
