Who said DFC isn't a gentleman ;o) ?
Hello there,
just a private joke... please don't see any offence meant, or something like that
I spent a lot of time on ebay, not especially for looking blood bowl minis... I'm still looking after some warhammer minis to convert. And I found this auction, FOR ENGLISH BIDDERS ONLY. I sent an email to the people who sell it, but because he's newbie on ebay, he'd rather make an english transaction only... So Woody (the old one ), Longfang, McDeth, and the others, this is for your eyes only:
http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... 1748543985
I don't think the nice 1st ogre edition (2nd from left) would need a hard stuff for converting To my mind, with a good gentleman agreement, a nice way to have this at a bargain price !
Good luck !

wh... wh... what ? Cutting the 1st edition ogre ... in order to ... make ... a trophy
Now the game is: I have to catch you before Galak does -just kidding, of course- Seriously, not a bad idea at all, due to the static attitude of this mini... should you keep us informed, please ? Some pictures would be great !!! Many thanks in advance for sharing it (maybe it was a joke... erm, these french have no sense of humour )

Heh heh!
Actually, it's one that had been butchered (converted) to a 40K Ogyrn (by somebody else), different gloves, combat trousers, boots and an imperial eagle belt buckle!
I felt it had to return to it's Blood Bowl heritage, so it's gonna be a bronze bust of Morg, used as some sort of trophy for casualties (what else?).
I'd never cut a decent 1e Ogre apart, just having a little chuckle at the thought of at yourself and Galak shouting "Sacrilege! Hang him!"

It seems to be an ogre I saw sometimes ago at a bargain price on ebay, doesn't it ? ... It's a good idea ! I must admit I don't like to buy damaged item, but the idea of buying them for converting or making trophies doesn't came to my mind... It's something I will think about, the next times.

Under a great afternoon sun, of course (of yes, it reminds me some old good cartoons, and westernsNah ..... hangin we be to good for a sacrilege of THAT magnitude .... think more like only the lines of being covered in honey and staked to the ground next to fire ants .... yah ... that's more the ticket.
Any suggestion if Deathwing knows the ants (playing Oasis in the same band, drinking some beers in the same pub, watching a match with the flag on the shoulders, ...) ?
