Custom bloodbowl Ork team

Post by Dain »

hi everybody,

I'm trying to make my own ork team thanks to various GW minis.
But, it seems that Gorkamorka figs are not available anymore.
I'have tried to see on ebay, unsuccessfully.

I'm looking for 2-4 Ork Nobz. I want to use them as Black orks blitzers.

Is there anybody who know where can i find those?
Or, Have you any other ideas for bloodbowl Black Orks?

Thanks
dain

Anthony TBBF uses the Warhammer black orcs with weapon snips, which look great..

Any 40K Ork Nob should be perfect too I would think..

PS If you need any extra GorkaMorka boyz (the plastic ones) I still have a few on sprues, just let me know......

I nicked Anthony's idea. They're easy snips and they do look great.

Yes, he did a good job but i would like to use more "naked" fig, with more muscles. In the 2002 French catalogue, we can see, W40 ork section, 2 Nobz with dynamic position behind the standard squad. I don't reealy like the standard nobz wich can be find in the box set.

I will custom:
Thrower --> Shaman Battle ork
Linemen --> space ork 'ard boyz
Blitzer --> Thankbustas
black ork --> ??? (Gorkmorka nobz, black orc battle)

I don't know what looks like your plastic boyz. Can you describe them a little bit?

Original multi-part plastic Orks for GorkaMorka game.. multiple heads, arms, torsos etc etc... they are quite small by new Ork standards, but would be good as catchers (if only such positions existed that is... ;))

As for the Black Orc, I think the sheets of steel covering him look good.. sure, muscles would be OK too, but he does have AV9 after all...
