Heres a list of quite a few miniaturepainters:

Still suprises me that some charge that much, even though I understand it takes a long time to make good looking figs.

I had a team painted by Grey Matter Musings (http://www.gmmstudios.com/) recently, and it was one of my better experiences with relatively inexpensive miniature painting. It was about 6 weeks from initial contact to receipt of the finished models and it cost me just over $200 to have 22 figures done, including shipping.

Here are some photos:

I think they're a bit nicer than comparably-priced services (at least in North America), but feel free to disagree. And to put me on to someone better. :)

If a mod notices this, perhaps you could add GMM to the list in the first post? To fit the format, the listed prices would put 15 troops ($142.50) and one big guy ($25) at $167.50 at Alpha level (plus $8 US shipping ).

I've just had miniatures painted by a guy called Richard Voss (miniatureworkshop@googlemail.com) who did me an excellent service at £4 a model. I can send the pics of the completed minis should anyone wish.

It's a converted ushabti figure from Gee Dub, tomb kings range in the fantasy section.

Just thought I'd drop in and say that I'm currently looking for commission work too. I'm currently in Ecuador but I'll be back on the second of June so just about the right amount of time to get ll the dull preperations out of the way, in my past experiences atleast!

Some people on the board may remember the Bayernhoff Bengals I painted earlier this year which can be seen here:

I charge by the hour with £6 per hour being the standard. For a team painted to the above level of quality you'd be looking at about 3.5 hours per man sized fig including materials, undercoat, basing, cleaning and assembly.

If you think you might be interested, just drop me a line through the site and I'll get back to you as soon as I'm able (internet connection not being the most solid out here!).

Cheers,

Adam
