Big heads and hands? Oh you mean the painting... I think it is fine, I would be quite happy with a team like that.

Hi All,

I have sent a team to a lady call Emily Hope (Telford UK), does anyone know her? I have had nothing but trouble with person.

Has anyone else used her to have a team painted and if so what was the transaction like.

She has had my team since September and I haven't been able to contact her for about 2 weeks, she comes up with all sorts of stories to tell me why she has not finished my team. Towards the end of November she was asking for money for Christmas which I felt very uncomfortable with.

Anyway not sure what to do, leave it a few more weeks or start to get a third party involved (Police, the boys)

It is unusual to ask for Christmas spending money, which sounds a little suspect.

As for time, I can't speak for other painters but i have had commissions that take a lot longer than first anticipated, life unfortunately has a habit of getting in the way and causing delays.

Have a little more patience, hopefully it all works itself out. failing that send the Orc Boyz round :)

Hmmmnnnn, how did you hear about her? Does she have a web page? Some painters will ask for a deposit in advance, but that should have been agreed prior, not during. I'd be suspicious. 6 to 7 months is way out there. Any professional, or anyone under contract to complete, should have done them by now. Things do come up in life, but anyone else would have said, sorry, I just cannot do them. Else you could just be waiting as other things come up for her, and a few years pass by. I'd ask for them back, sent signed Recorded. Repeat that request. Ensure she's received that request, with replies. Then, only then, state that you'll have to get the Police involved. You might have to go down the road of a County Court Judgement. simple and effective, but you'll need the full details of the person, their address, and full name. Try to find out why she's busy, what you need is any works address, so just casually ask her about if she's busy with her employment. You've got employer hassles,.... does she?,...... Where do you work?,........ useful information that will assist later if there are issues.
