WTB - Blood on the Snow pitch

Post by mikeyc222 »

so... i ordered a copy from my LGS only to be told today that GW didn't ship them any and they won't be getting any. the pitches are also showing as no longer available on the GW store. i called the local GW store and they said the pitches were a web exclusive and that they won't be getting any either. i can't even find one on ebay to over pay for...
anyone have a spare Blood on the Snow pitch that they could part with for somewhere under double the retail price?

Keep an eye on the website - they should be getting more stock in. It went available for a while on Friday (or might have been Thursday).

how about we have a gentlemen's agreement that if anyone sees it back in stock on the GW site, they post in this thread so we all see it and hopefully no one misses getting a copy. sound good? :)

I went and had a chat with my local GW Manager who had a quick chat with HQ...

My understanding for this is: there was a 1st and 2nd order which both Sold Out really fast, hence it going 'Sold Out' then back on for a bit and back to Sold Out again; however, apparently there are no current plans to do a 3rd order.

The board was not designated as 'Limited Edition' or similar but as there currently will not be a 3rd order the Sold Out sticker won't be disappearing. Obviously this may be subject to someone higher-up the chain getting a reorder organised but for the moment I wouldn't hold your breath.

They're not produced in-house, so at a minimum they're restricted by their printer's availability.
That, and they don't want to produce more than they can sell - I expect they based their figures conservatively.

not to jump in and take this off topic, but you want want to check with MGM@maelsromdesign.ca Jack has done a number of pitches, including snow themed for various tournaments in my league, his facebook is here for samples of past work https://www.facebook.com/mdsgamemats/?fref=ts or you can follow https://twitter.com/mdsgamemats on twitter or https://twitter.com/BloodBowlCgy

Tritex Games seems to be selling them at £25. Don't know how many he has but I thought I'd mention it...

The link doesn't seem to work. I also tried a search on the site and didn't find any winter pitches. It was worth a shot.

This is the general Blood Bowl 2016 stuff he has: https://www.tritex-games.co.uk/games-wo ... bowl-2016/

There were Snow on the Blood pitches when HowlingGriffon posted I saw them. Obviously there weren't that many.
