I got a PM here on Feb 3rd asking for my address again. As I mentioned before, I was just waiting on 1 figure, but I really don't need it now.

a part of me wants to agree, but i think we all tend to do this as we all tend to think of members of the community as friends. i still don't think that BFG set out to hose anyone, but it is what it is. i'm only out $30, but i know that a number of people are out a lot more.

For some reason my spidey sense was warning me about getting involved but I ignored it, which is always ends badly for me.

I also feel that BfG didn't look to rip anyone off.

Heard nothing since January 30th. Unfortunately, also learned the lesson of not sending friends and family, but figured since he was covering shipping and seemed to be a fairly active member of the community here, that it was a pretty safe bet.

I'm out of pocket but there are probably people who are more so. Agree that BFG probably had the best of intentions- but at the end of the day I'm one of a lot of disappointed people here.

Maybe it will eventually get sorted- sadly, the complete lack of communication suggests probably not.

For the record, I did get some models:
* Two Blood Bowl teams - the Marauders, in mint condition, and the Champions of Death - painted to a pretty reasonable standard.
* Jordell Freshbreeze 3rd Ed. - Mint in Blister
* Grim Ironjaw 3rd Ed. - Mint in Blister.
* Two 2nd edition elves - one lineman and one catcher - neither of which I ordered.

What I didn't receive:
* Three Necromunda gangs (for the record, Van Saar at US$40, Escher at US$40 and Spyrer at US$50).
* Varag Ghoul Chewer - 3rd Ed. I have since purchased him elsewhere.
* 2nd Edition Elf blitzer with mohawk.

I, fortunately, have kept my PayPal option alive. I chose not to send money to him 'family and friends'. As an aside, there are other members of this forum that I would happily send cash that way, and have done so recently.
I will let you know how I go.

I'm out $80 for two Necromunda gangs. While I think BfG has been involved in an unusually high number of delayed or otherwise problematic transactions over the past few years, it does speak well of him that none of us seem to have bought the same things. He hasn't sold anything twice, is what I mean.

Update: I got my money back through PayPal. While I ended up losing about AU$21 (of AU$206.31), this was really the conversion rates of converting AU$ to US$ and back again through PayPal, combined by a possible loss of exchange rate over 8 months.

All in all, I am pleased to have my money back. I found it interesting that Paypal did state that they 'reclaimed' the money from BFG, which possibly was with his consent. So while there is mutual silence between us, I did get my money back from him.

Any news on this topic?
I asked to have my money back but no answer so far...

Personally, I've tried to forget about the whole thing.

I have lost money that I do not think I will see again. Maybe BfG is working on things in the background to try and recitfy the situstion but I am not pinning my hopes on it.

Agreed. At this point I would say that everyone who is still waiting on money or minis is pretty much hosed.

Meanwhile, people on Facebook are still trying to give him money for his Wild Things.
