The rules pack implies that if you win, you also get 1 point for every turn that you held the ball. This is not the case in Galak's original rules. Is this intentional? :-?

Otherwise, looking good! I'm am sooooo up for this tournament! :D

Good spot Chris - I did change this, partly because I misread the original rules  , but then when I thought about it, doing it this way discourages super-quick games (someone talked about the 2-turn score on Impact), and may lead to people taking risks by "stalling", which may lead to them being caught out, which would in turn be entertaining, I think. It also makes out-right 1st, 2nd, 3rd more likely.

I should probably add that the rule pack will have stuff added as we go along, so keep checking here!

I am sorry to have to say that Malc will not be bringing his orcs. He had neglected the fact that it is his wifes birthday on the Friday and that they had planned to celebrate on the Saturday! :(

On a positive note, Mattwhile came over to mine this week and played his first game. We played Divine Wind vs Sarcos. My Divine Wind manage the win, but he now has a reasonable grasp of the rules, so this may change matters the next time we play.

Matt - Cheers for a fun game. I had a good evening and you managed to make it look like my non-stop talking wasn't really annoying! :D

Chris, thanks again. We'll definately have to make that a regular thing. Now that I understand the rules, I can't help but think that I'd like to be playing Black Rock Dwarves though.

The game is so different. When the ball was on the floor, I couldn't shake the BB mentality.

Am keeping my fingers crossed to be 'allowed' to go, will even be able to drink (thanks to Chris' kind offer).

OP updated after a few people showed an interest at the Waterbowl - I spent Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes demoing the game to a few different people, with a fair few more gathered round showing an interest.

If you are coming, can you please let me know (by posting here or by PM) whether you have an elfball board? I just want to be sure we will have enough for 1 between 2.

2 weeks to go!
