The pubs does food, but this is not included in the room hire. I shall post a menu as soon as they post it to me. They ask that people do not bring their own food. (Obviously, you could bring your own and then eat it elsewhere in the lunch break.) If people don't want eat in the pub there is a shop, a chippy, an indian and a chinese takeway about 1 minute away from the venue.

Teams and Scoring

• Teams are capped at 150 points. Optional teams, Impcrushers and Horror maybe used as per optional rules. Wizards are not allowed.
  
  Game ends with 1st goal / When Elfball deck runs out
  100 points for a win + (number of cards left in Elfball deck / 5 (round all fractions down))
  1 point to a loser or tie for each No Event card they drew during the game
  2 points for each player in opponent's Ejected, Recovery & Injury box AT END OF GAME (regardless of how they ended up there)

Mike - I would expect to see you playing Sarcos! it would seem rude not to play with the team you won in the first ever European Elfball Championship.

I have updated the OP with those who have expressed an interest. The venue has been provisionally booked. It is the Horse and Groom Pub in Clapham just north of Bedford about 2 miles from Bedford Train and Bus stations. At £10 a head for the room, we will need 18 people to break even. So please, if you can drum up some players, we can try for the biggest ever European Elfball event!

I should be able to make it. Need to double check the date but fairly sure I'm ok.

I want to try for one better this time and finish at least second from bottom.

I would love to go but as I work in a school and its bang in the middle of exam time I would never get there in time

I still have to get to a BB tournament too... I had a ticket bought for the BB and then my boss tells me we are short staffed and I had to come in... I didnt stay in the job much longer after that!

Well hopefully later this year there will be one on manchester which is hopefully easier for to hop over to

I've bitten the bullet and book the function room. This tournament is definitely on!

I've also added a couple of players from my club, so we're up to 11.
