Thanks guys!

In theory yes I should be able to do so. You need like 9 to 10 decks right?

We could talk about an INCREDIBLY discounted rate (like my cost) to get you 10 decks which you could then offer up for sale at the end of the event. Whatever didn't sell ... Gavin could take home with him.

Tom, I have sent you an email about this.

I am getting very excited about this tournament! :D

Optional rules for stars make sense. They generate more successes which means more stuff happens in less time.

However, the optional rules for a face off seem like a mistake. Making might unimportant to a faceoff completely changes the feel of the start of the game. They also de-value bribes which seems like a bit of a shame, personally I'd love to see a team based around a deadwood faceoff. The thing is that it doesnt really make the game any faster either.

The optional face off rules do change the feel of the start of the game, but as they resolve the whole thing without extra dice rolls, things are sped up a little. + with *=2 successes it does stop the team with the highest might pretty much always winning the starting roll off.

Also, I think that you are under estimating the value off having a slow moving monster in the middle of the field from the off. The bribe is almost as good, you just can't rely on winning the faceoff.

P.S. SillySod, are you available to play on the 19th of June?

I'd love to but I'm already going to a number of bloodbowl tournaments... theres a whole run of great ones over the summer months. I'll definitely be considering it but I doubt I'll be able to find time :(

I have attached the rules that I have written for my tournament in June.

Heavily ripped off Sann's pack (thanks Mike!) :D

What do people think?

I'm going to do an FAQ for the tournament too.
