I've now set up a Glasgow Blood Bowl League. Details can be found on Facebook:

Any one who plays or would like to learn how to play is welcome. The league is oriented towards newer/less-experienced players. You'll notice that the logistics are designed to allow flexibility so that players don't have to play week-in week-out. Please let me know if you are interested.

I see you Geordie types may have pulled some strings. I'm going to have to step down as commissioner as I'm moving to work abroad at short notice. You may just have killed the league before it started
It won't stop me trying to find a replacement for organiser of the TRUE GBBL!

So what happened?
Well, long story short, I went away to Italy and came back after 2 months in which time the league lost a lot of its momentum.
Now we have our mojo back! We have finally got the Glasgow Blood Bowl League together (
https://www.facebook.com/groups/2737273 ... 4/?fref=ts) and the Geordies are going to have to try more underhand tactics to deal with their failing copyright infringement suit.
The league itself is run by its participants so you can play with your friends at home. To meet other members of the league, we meet up at Lanarkshire Gamers events we finally got the Glasgow Blood Bowl League together (Facebook:

The league has just started and most of the players are new to the game or coming back to it after years of hiatus, so if you are interested in Blood Bowl in Glasgow or Strathclyde, now would be a great time to get into it.
GBBL: it's not a Rangers and Celtic kind of thing...
