Regina Flatland Blood Bowl League (RFBBL) - Sask, Canada

Hi everyone,

I will be organizing a new league for players in Regina, Saskatchewan over the next few weeks.

I have already setup a website - www.reginaflatland.bloodbowlleague.com

My last attempt at a Blood Bowl league was way back in 1996 - we were playing third edition rules with Death Zone expansion and had approximately 30 players in a small Alberta town...

I cannot wait to start playing with the newest rules.

Hey everyone,

A few more details about our current league.

The news page is intended to mostly be a parody of Regina stuff. In fact our real newspaper is called the Regina Leader Post. At one point in time it was called the Regina Evening Leader. Therefore, our fictional newspaper is called the Regina Morning Follower. ;p

There are going to be jabs on current events from Regina, the Sask Roughriders (hey I am from Alberta so I don't bleed green), other pro sports franchises, my coaches and players in the league itself.

Also - our two divisions are really just different terms for the same - Wascana (Oscana) literally means pile of bones in First Nations language of Cree.

Hey everyone,

Our fourth season will be ready to go in early January 2016. We typically run from January to early May with a mid-season All-Star Game in between.

After 3 years hovering at the 10 - 13 mark we finally broke through to 20 teams (likely 18 active from past experience) this year. Persistence pays off.
