NTC/RTC new name

Hi all, as you may know the NAF currently has a worldwide network of National and Regional Tournament Co-ordinators. With the NAF's increasing league provision, as well as online, I am looking to rebrand these as "NAF Ambassadors" or "NAF Reps". Which of these names do you think would be better and why? Or do you have a better name?

What's wrong with Tournament Coordinators (TCs), League Coordinators (LCs) and Online Coordinators (OCs)?
Though as I type that I realise it is a bit of a mouthful and are you perhaps rolling them into one position?

NAF reps is a bit wishy-washy, I think. It covers too much. You're a NAF rep, so will your Media Officer replacement be a NAF rep. Anyone who does anything for the NAF is a rep.

NAF Ambassador doesn't really say anything. What do they do?

edited to correct obvious typo's that no one appeared to have noticed....

The NTO/RTO role will be expanded, hopefully. They will "look after" all Blood Bowl and NAF-related business in their area (either geographical or online). Ideally they would be active on the relevant forums, attend tournaments, and be in contact with any tabletop leagues.

I think I like NAF co-ordinator best. Some regions only have a minimal BB presence. I would think the same rep may handle both league and tournament and any other functions. In larger communities, or perhaps in areas with major's (tournaments) more than one rep could be assigned if required.

Yep, it will still just be one person for an area, as now - just looking after more than just tournaments. Co-ordinator does seem to be getting the popular vote!

Somehow, the first word coming to my mind was "agent".
You could have a NAF agent in regions with very little BB population or a Tournament Agent (TA), League Agent (LA) and Online Agent (OA) where necessary,

Although I still have no clue what an LA or OA would actually do... Image
Co-ordinator sounds like someone who takes over the tournament, league or whatever he is attending.

Personally I think ambassador sounds abit cheesy, kind of boastful/sickening.

Representative is better and sounds more approachable

Depends on whether they come with Ferrero Rocher or not.

Commissar. Reminds me of the Imperial Guard guys who kept order (when i played 20 years ago) and will allow GW to get annoyed with the use of the word until they realise they'd just copied it like everything else they've ever released.

Rep or Agent for me (for what that's worth).

Shorter, snappier, catchier = better.

I just thought about two other words.

Deputy or stewart, maybe?

Here's some more ideas from an online thesaurus...

administrator, boss, controller, conductor, controller, director, exec, executive, governor, handler, head, head person, officer, official, organiser, overseer, producer, proprietor, straw boss, superintendent, supervisor, zookeeper

Overseer has a ring to it :orc:
