Just a thought:
Wouldn’t it be an idea to have one thread called „Naf committee meetings“ and in this post each time?
Benefit:
- it’s all together.
- one could even subscribe to this thread.
- not having distributed single threads

That is what I intent to do on the announcement thread in the membership forum.

There used to be such a thread in the past, but it kind of got abandoned (for unknown reasons) and instead of having a huge gap in between I started this new announcement thread.

The plan is to have a thread for every year with all committee meetings listed in the first post, so at the end we have a book of meeting minutes for every year.

If people want I can try to make a summary of the last 2-3 years for completeness, but that might take a few days

They should all be tagged "minutes" on the NAF site, so in fact there is just one link to all minutes.

I think Oventa was talking about having them inside the forum and not on the frontpage. Some like it old-school

Ok with this specific feedback I actually targeted this tff forum.
I simply think no matter on which forum,
For regular reoccurring posts, i prefer that people reuse 1 thread, instead of using each time a new thread.
Perhaps that is a matter of taste, but it has the mentioned benefit of subscription to a thread and not cluttering up a forum.
I think Naf committee meetings would be a good fit for using just one thread.
Just wanted to give that feedback.

And yes while I think the Wordpress Naf page is good and nice for many people, and it is really good we have this frontage,
I am indeed as torjurub said a bit of the old school forum type. Sorry for that.


And As mentioned by tojurub as well, I also do like that Naf committee thread in the Naf forum
But I don’t need the text copied there. A link to respective minutes is fine for me.
It is just that my entry page to any Naf information is the forum.
If there is no link there, I don’t find my way to any Naf information on the Wordpress frontpage.
Perhaps I am the only one who access information like this, but that’s how it is for me at leAst.

Got to love the explosion of tournaments. Some of that is BB16 bringing regions with low existing BB penetration back into the fold. I like the NE USA shout out part of the problem (having run 2 of the four new events in our state.)

@Purplegoo 's point on needing help is interesting and I'm reminded of some of the controversies in the last year about 'what events are just not sanctionable by the NAF.' Having more explicit generally applicable rules might help empower the NTC's and RTC's to take the burden off.
