NAF Tournament Approval Staff

Post by Purplegoo »

Dear members,

NAF Blood Bowl has never been so popular. From May 2015-17, we approved circa 600 tournaments. In the first five months of this year, we have been approving at double that rate. This is absolutely brilliant, but it is also an increased workload. Historically, only the NAF Tournament Director has approved tournaments, but with 50-60 submissions per month and growing, we will get to a point where there are too many for one person to approve alone.

Due to this increased demand, we have recruited two new NAF tournament approvers. Driesfield and Oventa have joined Purplegoo on the approval team, and are now actively appraising your tournaments as they are submitted. We feel this will enable us to continue to give everyone the same level of service and attention, as well as lightening the load on the TD such that he can also give additional focus to other committee projects and tasks.

Please welcome Dries and Oventa into their new positions, and should they get in touch about your tournament, please help them to help you get NAF sanctioned!

Thanks,

Phil.

Dear members,

In order to cope with ever increasing demand, in June of 2018, we announced that Driesfield and Oventa would be joining Purplegoo on the tournament approval staff.

We have decided to increase the team still further, and today, we welcome Nate / Gaixo, Nacho / Hachablanca and Matteo / Matte8 to tournament approvals.

Expanding our team to six should mean that approvals can be distributed in manageable chunks, and members should notice the benefit of it being more likely they are dealt with by a local approver.

Please bear with us while the new system beds in.

Many thanks,

Phil.
