New VP

Hello all,

Just thought I would pop into the TFF forums and introduce myself. I was recently appointed NAF Vice President by Gaixo and while I have been involved in the community for many years, I joined the NAF in 2005, it occurred to me that being an Australian and so far removed from the epicentre of the Blood Bowl community there may be some concerns.

I recently attended the 4th World Cup, and would like to think my commitment to travel halfway around the world for my hobby is a nod in my favour, and indeed the passion I have for Blood Bowl. Had I known the Vice Presidency was to be offered to me, I would have spent much longer working the floor and trying to get to know you all instead of just getting drunk and playing some Blood Bowl.

As the T/O of the 5th Major Eucalyptus Bowl I have had many conversations with different members of the committee, but am excited to be coming on board to lend my voice to the discussion of what direction the NAF takes in the future.

I am big on transparency and honesty so will be seeking to ensure the Committee is held to the highest standards and we represent genuinely all our members.

I also had the pleasure of playing in Patatonia prior to the World Cup and met a number of the Spanish coaches, enjoyed some Paella, Tapas and Karaoke. I hope to travel more in the future and make many more friends.

I wont ramble on further, I just want to say, I am coming into this role with both eyes open, but am very naive to some of the existing politics. I am happy to hear from any keen Blood Bowlers with an opinion. I have limited linguistic skills but am happy to translate anything you send me, so please don't let language be a barrier.

Solo pensé en aparecer en los foros de TFF y presentarme. Gaixo me nombró recientemente Vicepresidente de la NAF y, aunque he estado involucrado en la comunidad durante muchos años, me uní a la NAF en 2005, se me ocurrió que ser australiano y hasta ahora alejado del epicentro de la comunidad de Blood Bowl allí Puede haber algunas preocupaciones.

Hace poco asistí a la 4ta Copa del Mundo, y me gustaría pensar que mi compromiso de viajar al otro lado del mundo por mi hobby es un guiño a mi favor, y de hecho la pasión que tengo por Blood Bowl. No voy a divagar más, solo quiero decir, estoy llegando a este papel con los dos ojos abiertos, pero soy muy ingenuo con algunas de las políticas existentes. Me alegra saber de cualquier entusiasta de Blood Bowlers con una opinión. Tengo habilidades lingüísticas limitadas pero estoy feliz de traducir cualquier cosa que me envíes, así que no permitas que el idioma sea una barrera.

Je pensais juste que j'allais entrer dans les forums de la FFT et me présenter. J'ai récemment été nommé vice-président de la NAF par Gaixo et bien que je sois impliqué dans la communauté depuis de nombreuses années, j'ai rejoint la NAF en 2005, il m'est venu à l'esprit qu'être australien et si loin de l'épicentre de la communauté de Blood Bowl là-bas peut être un problème.

J'ai récemment assisté à la 4e Coupe du monde et j'aimerais penser que mon engagement à voyager à l'autre bout du monde pour mon passe-temps est un signe de tête en ma faveur, et en fait la passion que j'ai pour Blood Bowl. Si j'avais su que la vice-présidence m'était offerte, j'aurais passé beaucoup plus de temps à travailler sur le sol et à essayer de vous connaître tous au lieu de simplement vous saouler et de jouer au Blood Bowl.

En tant que T / O du 5e grand bol d'eucalyptus, j'ai eu de nombreuses conversations avec différents membres du comité, mais je suis ravi de me joindre à moi pour prêter ma voix à la discussion sur la direction que prendra la NAF à l'avenir.

Je suis très attaché à la transparence et à l'honnêteté, je chercherai donc à garantir que le Comité respecte les normes les plus élevées et que nous représentons véritablement tous nos membres.

Je suis heureux d'entendre des Blood Bowlers passionnés avec une opinion. J'ai des compétences linguistiques limitées mais je suis heureux de traduire tout ce que vous m'envoyez, alors s'il vous plaît ne laissez pas la langue être un obstacle.

Ho solo pensato di entrare nei forum TFF e presentarmi. Sono stato recentemente nominato Vice Presidente della NAF da Gaixo e mentre sono stato coinvolto nella comunità per molti anni, sono entrato a far parte della NAF nel 2005, mi è venuto in mente che essere australiano e così lontano dall'epicentro della comunità di Blood Bowl lì possono essere alcune preoccupazioni.

Di recente ho partecipato alla 4a Coppa del Mondo e vorrei pensare che il mio impegno a viaggiare in giro per il mondo per il mio hobby fosse un cenno a mio favore, e in effetti la passione che ho per Blood Bowl. Se avessi saputo che la Vice Presidenza mi sarebbe stata offerta, avrei trascorso molto più tempo lavorando sul pavimento e cercando di conoscerti tutti invece di ubriacarmi e giocare a Blood Bowl.
