Are sponsors in the newest ruleset (2020)? Will they be?

Hey.

I have only partial pirated rulebook on my hands, and can't be sure nothing important is missing from it. And I can't find sponsors-related mechanics which were introduced in BB2016. Were they dropped during transition to the new ruleset? Or may be will be added in some expansion later? That would be nice, I liked new options they offered.

No rules for sponsorships in the new rulebook.

Closest you’ll get are Regional Special rules and Team Special rules, but they’re nothing like what you’re after.

After removing all the missing content, we're left with ca 50% of what we had. A tough trade for blorcs, nobility v2 and biased referee. Most of the lost content can be salvaged though. If anyone thinks that this was an intended reduction of bloated extra rules, think again, it's just a reset. Necromantic Spike continues in the same way as before and new content is added left and right as always...
