JohnnyP - thanks for all your time, effort and money in running the site. Its been very much appreciated.

I'm quite happy to take on hosting so I've emailed separately about that.

Thanks for all the hard job all these years.

It's incredible that GW has had the bravery of attacking all those websites out there that have reported them so much money keeping alive this game, with most of these websites getting no money at all, not even to pay the bandwith or anything.....

This is a really bad day for the hobby. I am really getting sick and tired of GW and their oppressive ways that they treat their fan bases.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

One might hope even more GW just sells of this game to a company that DOES care about it...

So rumour came to me, and I had to just send my true condolences to everyone who is a BB fan, and have been populating the pages of this forum for these 9 years ..

I can't really count how many hours I've been reading through the threads, having fun and chitchatting with several others, to keep this truly awesome game alive.

JohnnyP, and the many others involved in keeping this site up ...
THANK YOU SO MUCH !!

I'm so long retired from the game fields, bought the PC game out of pure collectionism and nostalgia, but never had my TBB account closed, never had it out of my bookmarks ..

Thanx all that I've met through this site, in several tourneys, .. it's been such a pleassure!

That does it, I'm not buying anything from GW ever again. Let's face it. Their not going to release much in the way of Blood Bowl miniatures anyway.

What a sad day. GW open mouth to change feet yet again. Or maybe their shooting themselves in them!

Well done for supporting this section of the hobby for so long. I've no doubt they'll be even more casualties. They did this to members of the GCN about 4 years ago, after they supposedly helped to start the clubs up!

Terribly sorry to hear about this. I cannot understand GW's stance on sites and fan-based operations that do little but promote the hobby. I felt similarly regarding the 40k fan film Damnatus. I always seem to come back to the fact that the corporate juggernaut known as Lucasfilm seem to find a way to let the fans have their fun, but GW (small fry in comparison) cannot.

A sad day.

Thank you for everyone here at TBB; it was always nice to be able to connect to people that share the same hobbies as you seeing as there is no one in my area that plays.

I wanted this to be just some kind of bad joke... But i guess it's not. WTF are they playing at in GW HQ!?! :pissed:

So what is going to happen to the NAF website, will that be getting closed down to as we pay membership and the site has 'bloodbowl' in it's title?

I hope Ian does get things sorted to take over the hosting of the site.

A huge thanks to JohnnyP, with out you i wouldnt have met so many new friends and my liver wouldnt be so pickled

Thanks mate.
