Hi,

This site is great, I've spent hours reading old articles!

Just an idea - why don't we get people to create some BB specific emoticons? I'm sure they're not hard to do, hell, if someone tells me how I'll do them! If you go to the Lucasarts Star Wars forums they have some there, such as lightsabre fights etc...

That is a great idea and something I've been wanting to do for a while. I've just never had the time to think about what sort are required. I'm glad you've started a thread as I hope we'll get some good ideas or even better, some actual emoticons to use.

How about a bouncing one, depicting a decapitated head from a chainsaw?

Or using those BB player icons Tom adding to PBeM tool? (Not very tech savvy so don't know if this is possible)

I would suggest a squishing goblin or triple skulls dice rolling. Maybe a Dark Elf dropping a pass?

Looks like they are just animated GIF files, so they might not be that hard technically to make, but it might be a different story artistically. I would be willing to help out however I can. I have some technical skills, but not much artistic.

"Double skulls" would be a very good way show how badly things can go, woudn't it?

Go steal some from http://www.warhammeronline.com 's forums! They're pretty nice, thats where I got the skulls in my sig from. Most of them are about WHFB, but they have a few good ones:

The ones at the NAF site are pretty good and I wouldn't mind seeing those here too.
