Trouble logging in... cache related?

It's taken me a good while to get logged in this morning. In the end, I had to delete all my files in my cache and then it let me in. I don't know whether this was the cause of the problem or not, but it seems rather concerning.

There has been a caching problem for a few weeks now which will hopefully be fixed after I rebuild the server tomorrow morning.
